Hey review reader, Here is my experience & review about the branch. Visited yesterday for an account opening. The BM sir is a humble person. Staffs are good in professional. They followed guideline of COVID-19 properly. But they asked me frequently “can you maintain 5000 in the account?” sounds like:- "are you a poor ?", "are you a poor ?" Well, then they proceed. Received OTPs from me , all the original documents. After all the procedures I gone for a final verification. After that an uncivilized smiley faced officer met me to a very next step to the BM sir’s chamber. In a good manner he told me:- sir, you have to deposit with a “minimum check of 10,000”. Cash can’t be receive as a first deposit and it’s a “Branch Policy”. Lessons:- 1. You have to an other bank account for a new account at HDFC. 2. You have to deposit a 2x amount of the minimum balance. 3. "Bank policies" and "branch policies" are different under RBI rule at Nayagarh HDFC branch. Conclusion:- 1.After all losses of 01 hour 40 minutes I can’t opening an account for these “STUPID REASONS”. 2.Go for an other nearest HDFC branch for ensuring further not to face problems at a serious time by the illogical reasons. 3.After all these things, if someone interested in this branch, please ensure that,(i) you have a check, (ii) you’ve a amount of 2x than minimum balance and (iii) all the correct documents of yourself & much more times.
