Pathetic service, proud staff!nnJust a while ago I wrote an honest review about this bank and their pathetic services and sure enough their system-generated response popped up asking for my email to settle issues!nMy paragraph-long review got deleted by mistake much to my dismay! But I will state this again: HDFC city tower office, Dimapur, services are pathetic, the staff are unhelpful, rude and enormously proud. If you couldn’t resolve things on my 2nd personal visit to the bank what will an email or phone chat yield? We could be penpals [email] for years but that wont solve anything! Stop with your petty excuses! Train your staff to behave. The staff desperately need training on business etiquette and work-related efficiency!nThey dont even seem to have any answer to queries and keep pointing to different people who are already busy on their desks (btw the guy I approached was busy playing a game on his cheap a** android phone while his friend gave me a dirty look... I suspect some clients make more than 5 times what they earn in a month - both of them combined- but lets not digress!)nnThey don’t own the bank. Customers/clients deserve some respect. Their deluded mindsets need proper training. Dont sabotage the good name of hdfc because of some nincompoops who think they own the bank and treat people as nuisance!nWatch out people. They will only treat you like a PERSON if you are a Privilege Account Holder. The rest, go at your own risk. I feel the staffs are changing every 6-12 months, a Havoc in itself. My experience with HDFC elsewhere and Dimapur is worlds apart. Once I'm done paying my loan, I'm considering closing my account. P.S IF you wanna Open your account here, put on lots of Gold jewelries or go Suited and Booted, else they'll mistake you for being lost...

Dropped by a couple of weeks back to enquire about opening an account. The bank (city tower branch) was not busy at all! I was directed to speak to a man (non local) sitting by the desk. I started off the conversation with a polite greeting and asked about the advantages, benefits etc. His reply 'it's the same like every bank, the only difference is good customer service', which was not at all!!! He seemed more concerned about charging his mobile and talking to whoever called. I walked out right away and opened up an account for myself and my cousin at axis (impeccable customer service at axis though it was packed!).nI thought HDFC would be better than what I experienced.
