This bank was established in this rural belt way back in 1980s .SBM now enjoys the strong customer base and now merged with SBI. Recently they have installed ATM for the benefit of rural customers .The staff here are normally friendly with clients.Service will be quick compared to busy branches in city area.However,of late non kannada speaking officials posted here find it difficult to communicate with local people and on few occasions the customers felt helpless too.
