Nice hiking route just 2 steps from the centre of Marina di Campo. Overwhelming scent of rosemary, perfectly blue water, quiet pine forest - this is how I will remember the island. First kilometre is easily accessible with kids, stroller etc. Afterwards it's getting a bit more challenging, but still a nice enough to have a relaxed walk. Some trail or hiking shoes are recommended though. I've been jogging there few times, starting from Marina di Campo, going through the Spiaggia di Fonza, further along the path of 'King of Elba' race, up to the hill and back to the town. This makes about 12,5km with 500m climb.
