The Sentiero di San Francesco in Campo Tures is among the most beautiful meditation trails in Italy, enhanced by the tranquility of the surrounding woods and the spectacular Riva Falls. It can be said that the Cantico delle Creature, reported by the numerous stations throughout the journey, is represented in the eyes of the visitor, in a wonderful mix of pure air, peace, nature and serenity. The path starts symbolically with a wooden Tau, the symbol so dear to the Poverello of Assisi. Subsequently this is immersed in the depths of the forest, in a path that will lead you to the search for yourself, your inner riches, and above all the grandeur of Creation, a true gift of God to humanity. The first station on the Path praises the Lord, taking up the first stanza of the Canticle and thanking him in advance for the beauties He has given us and which we will see summarized in this magical wood. Arrived at the first waterfall, one is struck by the magnificence and clarity of its water jet; in fact here there is another sign that shows the words of the Song dedicated to water: humble, precious and chaste. Going up we meet all the other stations: in a corner sheltered by the rocks, ideal to light a fire, St. Francis thanks God for this gift; in a clearing where the trees open, and it is possible to admire the sky, the Moon and the Stars are praised, because they are clear, precious and beautiful. Going further up the path ends with the vision of the third and most spectacular waterfall. Awe and a strong sense of reverence for Nature fill the heart; symbolically the visitor, after having seen and perceived all the gifts of the Eternal Father, arrives to admire Mother Nature in her power and pure beauty. To reach the Church of Saints Francis and Clare, the path becomes really steep and challenging: only those who have faith do really want to thank the Lord of the gift of Creatures, will receive the strength to face the climb up to the Chapel, poor in architecture but which gives great inner richness to those who visit it with "love and humility" towards Creation. In conclusion, I would say that this path best represents the Beauty of Creation; throughout his journey the Canticle of Creatures manifests itself in the eyes of the visitor more vivid and real than ever. Savoring the environment, the water, the pure air of this true Temple of Creation, we will truly understand our true inner riches and the true essence of Mother Nature, an immense gift that God has given us as a representation of heavenly perfection .

Beautiful ... walk feasible even with two children of 4 and 5 years. After the third waterfall we continued to the little church of s.Francesco. The last part is a little more challenging, especially for children.

Very nice the path and the waterfall spectator both at the first and second point - I have not seen the third - the problem and the overcrowding that disturbs a bit.
