The public gardens "Le Ghiaie" are a green area located behind the beach of the same name, including small gardens, benches and games for children.

It is the largest public garden in Portoferraio, it is well cared for, perhaps it would need more care, however it allows those who find themselves in Portoferraio to be able to take advantage of a green space, moreover from the sea and the Ghiaie beach, beautiful and so comfortable.

And very nice, for children there are many games, swings, clean public bathrooms.

Large park well maintained and equipped for the little ones. I am dismayed by the large number of palm trees, I counted at least 13 of them, attacked and killed by the red awl. At least we had to try to save some of them. EDIT: they cut down the palms. There are 6 left, 3 of whom are sick ...
