Such a nice spot. Great view over the valley, nice park to wander around a bit after dinner. Close to the city but quiet. Locals cone to hang out here. Bring a pizza and some wine, watch the sunset.

The parterre is a 1 and 1/2 kilometer walk literally 50 metres from Cortona town centre lined with trees what I know as tellios a heavy fragrance fills the air that is intoxicating to humans more so bees who you can see flying from flower to flower laden with pollen some on the ground drunk with the nectar there is a beautiful fountain play area for children and a stunning war memorial dedicated to those who died. The city of Cortona was made famous by Frances May who wrote under the Tuscan sun there are quotes from her book on most of the information signs. Listed as one of the ten most beautiful towns in Italy. ..

Lovely little park within in Cortona. Well kept and has lovely views of the surrounding area.can literally be walked through in about 10mins. Head to the Japanese restaurant within the park and have a look up stairs at the most beautiful green walls full of incredible plants. Sometimes has local artists showcase work within the park.
