My son and I spent a day hiking with Patrick in the Dolomites, Val Gardena. We had a wonderful day. Patrick knows the mountain trail like the back of his hand and is clearly very enthusiastic about his own region. He has a nonintrusive way of telling you about the culture of the region and the flora and fauna. He was very understanding of our passion for photography and led us to photogenic places and also took some very nice photographs of us. In a nut shell, a very optimal experience.
Thanks Patrick for the beautiful excursion!
This was my first excursion with Val Gardena Active. With a group of 9, we went up into the mountains to see the Dolomites at sunset. Incredible views, delicious snacks at the hut and the best guide I have met in the Dolomites. While we were walking, Patrick introduced us to the culture of Val Gardena, told us the history of the Dolomites, taught us how to use walking sticks and explained how to walk along mountain trails without injuries. It was a lot of fun and I didn't even notice that 4 hours went by. thanks Patrick!
Among the various proposals of Val Gardena Active - all not to be missed - I point out "The redness of the peaks", an excursion at sunset on the Seurasas. Patrick Stuflesser - flanked by his good colleague Diego - has not only guided us, but also entertained with "pills" of botany, history, geography and many curiosities. After a very welcome stop at the Seuraras hut, with a Hugo-based "vives", the view from the Crujeta spike is truly breathtaking. Patient with children, engaging with adults, thoughtful with the over sixties a bit in difficulty given the difference in height and an enviable photographer, Patrick accompanied us to discover the thousand colors of the peaks of Sassolungo, Sassopiatto and Sella group at sunset. going from gray to yellow to pink to blue. We went down at nightfall, with the last stretch towards the Cristauta illuminated by the front torches, promptly provided by Patrick. A demanding but unforgettable excursion.
The hike on the Seurasas was beautiful and seeing the sunset over the Dolomites is a unique experience. Patrick was an excellent guide who explained many interesting anecdotes about the Dolomites and took care to keep up with all the participants who are not used to making this excursion a little tiring. We hope to return to Val Gardena soon and thanks again to Patrick for his professionalism!
I recommend you try a private excursion with Patrick, a very well prepared, professional but friendly guide, who enriches the excursion with something more every time. Course to use chopsticks, photos, curiosities, all seasoned with his love for his territory and his passion for his profession.
