Beautiful park very close to the center of Sesto Fiorentino. The park was built a few years ago on the occasion of the TAV passage (high speed train) in the stretch that goes from Florence to Bologna. The park is adjacent to Villa Solaria another lung of the Florentine suburbs. Inside the park there is also a heliport for possible emergencies given the train gallery. During the works, an ancient aqueduct dating back to Roman times emerged that only that is worth a visit. In the park every day you can do a lot of activities, like running, having a picnic, reading a book or enjoying the tranquility of the place among plants and trees. You can admire the dry-stone walls that attract the sun by day and give off heat during the sunset.

Beautiful and large park. There are large lawns and different varieties of plants and flowers, including olive trees. However, there are no large trees to shelter from the sun. A water fountain is also missing. In the middle of the park there are excavations with Etruscan remains and not far there is the famous Tomba della Mula.
