In Ripafratta there are many things: the Rocca, trekking routes, the train on a single track, the canoes, yesterday there was a party and we had a great time, but, above all, there is the river. The Serchio, which widens in correspondence with the delightful village, with a Pescaia. Everyone takes a bath ..... belloooo !!!!

It is the last stretch of the river park. Starting by bicycle from Monte San Quirico to the river estuary (when I stop in Marina di Vecchiano); I almost always stop here in Ripafratta. Always relaxing the noise of the waterfalls and the water seems much cleaner than it was in 2016; However, the whole area still conveys a sense of abandonment; if it were more accurate in terms of services \ infrastructures \ maintenance I wouldn't even have to pedal to the mouth; this would become my ideal bathing place (which in fact has great potential even if low-cost).

Suggestive and very nice place for a walk along the river, also suitable for small picnics. The area should be a little cleared of weeds and some waste. Overall though it's a pleasant place
