Lovely ruins in a lush and quiet forest area. Disregard the "no entry" and "privado" and just walk past into the area with the ruins. Follow the path to get to a sentry tower with agreat view. Watch out for wild boars.

It is a medieval castle near San Gimignano and not advised. If you love nature, history and you have the chance plan to. Is it it. After a nice walk in the forest then you arrive to a hoist bridge. Two ancient towers still there as the church. Only the roof is missing. All around walls of old houses with stairs and ancient grain mill wheels. If you wish to make a picnic there, please respect this wonderful place and take the garbage back with you in order to keep it as beautiful as it is.

Cool place to visit. Park at the hotel that is close

Nice place but not the best for views. Mostly good for a hike or moderate walk. There's a map in the park about what route to take but once on the trail it becomes very confusing. At one junction the red arrows for example pointed in seperate directions. We actually got lost following the arrows and came to a dead end before resorting to creating out own path through the forest which was still kind of fun. Also, you cant drive through the centre areas unless you have a resident permit.

Very peaceful, if unexciting, area. Be wary of following directions by Google maps, they take you in by a northerly route and this road is barred to all traffic without a permit.
