Anghiari is located in the Tuscany region near (30 minutes by car) from Arezzo. The population is 5887 people. In the Middle Ages, Angyari was of great strategic importance due to its location. The city is located on a hill and is surrounded by a fortification wall of the XII century, from which only fragments have survived:

The panorama immortalized in the photos is what you see from the window of my house, the Val berina where the famous "Battle of Anghiari" took place, reproduced by the famous Leonardo da Vinci. I'm one of the lucky ones who owns a house within the walls of this characteristic and beautiful Anghiari castle. Below you can see the road that turns above the walls called "N'tra le mura. Come and visit it because it is really beautiful and characteristic.
