Nice reserve. Not the best. Horses were quite far when I visited. I was excited about the frogs and the turtles the most. It is extremely damp and it feels hotter if you visit in the summer. Make sure to wear thin clothes and mosquito repellent. The staff is also nice

Don't scare the birds and enjoy the refreshing view. Waterproof boots and binoculars are definitely a plus :)

Loved the Bee Eaters. Great place. Very quiet and peaceful and lots of interesting birds. Wished I had brought binoculars, but even without there is lots to see. Also the horses with their egrets

Wonderful place for a walk, with beautiful nature and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. There are blinds for bird watching, and in some of them you can get really close to the birds. It was certainly a special experience for us. Two different trails are available here, a shorter one goes round the wetland area and is about 3 km long, the longer one to the tip of the peninsula and is about 10 km long. We wish we could do the longer one, but it was just tok hot at the time of our visit. One other thing to note, there's an entry fee for the trails (5€ at the time of our visit), but the ticket office doesn't seem to be open all the time. You can then enter freely and they'll expect you to pay when you come back out. A little strange, I think.
Similar place
