The waterfalls of Torrente Monia are located in Irola in Lunigiana. They are a magical, fairytale, very suggestive place. Yes, it starts from the village of Irola di sotto and you follow some signs with directions to the falls. You walk for about 20/30 minutes in the woods. The route is simple, only the last stretch is steep, slippery and not immediately recognizable. We arrive at the remains of an old mill, covered with moss, very beautiful and behind there the waterfall appears.

A Beautiful Waterfall in the Heart of the Forest🌲🌲🌲 Once you reach the small village of Irola di Sotto, perched on Monte Biglia, you can safely park your car in the main square and begin to follow the convenient directions to reach the Cascata sul torrente Monia. In about 30 min. downhill you arrive at your destination (Warning! Very wet and slippery path) The waterfall appears majestic with its 15 meters high, next to it the ruins of the Mulino della Debbia. For the return uphill it will take about 40 min. to return to the country

Beautiful waterfall, perhaps the most beautiful of Lunigiana, in the taken, ancient mill with sandstone millstones ....
