The Path of Memory is a circular route that starts and returns to Poggio alla Croce, crossing various points of interest in the Scalari Mountains, especially Pian d'Albero. Due to its characteristics, this route does not present any particular difficulties and is suitable for anyone with only a minimal habit of walking in the woods. The path winds through the municipalities of Figline-Incisa Valdarno and Greve in Chianti, which are the first promoters of the work, the result of an agreement with the Anpi sections of Bagno a Ripoli, Figline and Incisa Valdarno, Gavinana, Ponte a Ema, Rignano-Reggello, and realized with the supervision of the Tuscan Historical Institute of Resistance and Contemporary Age and the collaboration of the CAI-Section of Florence. Compared to the existing CAI paths, variants have been identified that allow you to visit more points of interest so far little known. Along the entire journey, explanatory panels were also installed, all accompanied by a map indicating the point along the route.
