Beautiful arboretum, I recommend the visit to anyone who has doubts about what to do in Vallombrosa. The guides will show you the rare species and you can get to know many more curiosities about trees. The ground is slightly rough so I recommend comfortable shoes.

Unmissable. Educational. The only drawback ... there should also be the "vulgar" names of the plants. Not all visitors are ..... agronomists. Excellent location and helpful and prepared staff. Well worth a visit ..... and advertised more is a plus x Vallombrosa !!!!!
Stelvio Ghibli (10/11/2019)
One of the most important collections of trees in Europe, an unmissable experience for nature lovers or simply for those seeking summer coolness. More clarity would be needed on opening hours and days and guides at least in English.

Beautiful place in the Florentine Pratomagno. At the end of the 19th century it was a tourist place par excellence of the bourgeoisie.

A place to stroll, listening to each other and listening to the sound of the wind in the trees. Walking in the paths and tracing new ones, climbing with uprooted roots in an uncontaminated territory. The abbey and the bridges that cross the numerous streams are wonderful. Steep terrain, often muddy due to springs from the rocks. If you decide to embark on dirt roads, watch out for clothing, shoes and equipment suitable for doing so
