Val de Croda

Beautiful hike next to running water and green mountains. Had to cross a river four times to get to the destination, a church built almost 1000 years ago. Worth the journey.

Great scenery with multiple trails to take. All the trails are well labeled with painted rocks and flags. Most of the trails are pretty rocky so I would recommend hiking shoes or boots. All the trails are labeled in Italian but there is enough cell service to google translate at the vehicle entrance.

Magical environment, with various foothills paths. The source, a little hidden, is truly enchanting and very pleasant. In path H you can find the Church of San Tomé, really beautiful and through a qr code that can be visited in virtual reality even inside. Nature surrounds you fully. I recommend to those who are fond of trekking or simply those who want to take a nice walk / hike. Path H I would not recommend for children, but there are many paths that are very accessible to them too. Just for the scenery, backpacking, a nice morning and ... A walk of 13 kilometers and maybe even more, with a difference in height of 1000 meters, in an environment totally immersed in nature, with very few people and breathtaking views.

Wonderful place for walks, picnics but above all for climbing on the Dolomite cliff.
