An old trade route and wow this must have been a popular stopping point for hundreds of years. I love the way there is a jetti that allows you to feel extra close to this dramatic waterfall. the valley leading up to it has many waterfalls, more if rained. I reccomend a visit. it's up a long dead end road from beneco. but there are places to stay and great walking at good altitude after the dam and mountain hut.

Extremely beautiful! You definitely should visit it any time of the year. We were here in October and it was gorgeous! The landscape is exciting!
