One of the most beautiful garden in Italia.
I am forced to give a star as I was not allowed to enter the villa. I'll explain how things went. My husband and I were on vacation a few weeks ago in Umbria and Tuscany we came across one of the restaurants of the owner of Villa Trecci that we personally met in Montepulciano: a very kind, helpful person who treated us very well and a lover of dogs that have been the reason for this knowledge. Speaking, the owner invited us to visit the park of Villa trecci even with our dogs. Two days later, we call the Villa to ask if we should book the visit given the Covid period and the rules to be adopted, on this occasion we point out that we have two dogs, on the phone the lady from the first line told us no problem, then hesitated and she asked us what breed we answered greyhounds and told us to call her back because she didn't know if they could enter ... already here it is disarming that the site does not specify whether or not you can enter with the dog, then you say yes and two minutes later you ask me what breed.
We waited 10 minutes and we called back, even here we spread a veil because I am a customer interested in visiting the park and you make me call back if anything you should call back ... but okay ... we call back and the young lady replies that we cannot enter because there are jack russells of free owners in the Villa.
Back then this was absolutely unprofessional. First of all you do not call people back and depending on the breed of dog you do access them or not, then the motivation of the dogs of the free owners leaves me speechless the Villa is open to the public and if a person is afraid of dogs, he can find free dogs that they run, but customers cannot access it with the dog on a leash ... then I wanted to ask the young lady on the phone what the greyhounds have that they cannot access, since she told us that they are not small if they were small it was better. We were very sorry because speaking a few days earlier with the owner, the impression was excellent, an elegant and well-mannered person, unfortunately we cannot say the same of the treatment received for Villa Trecci. If you do not want dogs inside the facility, specify it but at least treat them all the same and not depending on which dog they have.
You can feel the atmosphere here with every step. The garden is beautiful, in addition, it is managed by a nice owner. I highly recommend it, as it is a must see when visiting Tuscany!
Spectacular park, a feast for the eyes and peace for the soul
I have no words: it leaves you breathless, I recommend everyone to visit it !!!
