Commissioned by Diomede Leoni, the Horti take their name from their owner and have kept the original structure to this day, constituting a well-preserved example of a classic Italian garden and a model of park accommodation taken up in the following centuries. The garden is divided into two parts. The lower area, in the shape of a rhombus, which is accessed via a small brick courtyard, with the statue of Cosimo III dei Medici in the center, sculpted by Bartolomeo Mazzuoli (1688). The upper part develops around the Cassero tower now temporarily closed.
