From Nanki Shirahama / Mifune Foot Bath, walk along the bay for a while while looking at Engetsu Island on your left, and turn right a little to find the Jodo sect temple, Honkakuji. It is called Kai-ji Temple because it collects and collects 30,000 shells of about 1000 types with the donation of shells from local fishermen.

We visited on a public holiday, but responded immediately with the intercom on the front. Please feel free to look at the shell display and the main shrine, so I enjoyed it slowly in a quiet space. K
