Honkakuji

From Nanki Shirahama / Mifune Foot Bath, walk along the bay for a while while looking at Engetsu Island on your left, and turn right a little to find the Jodo sect temple, Honkakuji. It is called Kai-ji Temple because it collects and collects 30,000 shells of about 1000 types with the donation of shells from local fishermen.
