I knew about itai-itai disease from textbooks when I was a student, only about cadmium and bones becoming brittle. I also realized that the reconstruction took a very long time and it was more pollution than I expected. The admission is free, so if you can come to Toyama, we recommend you to come by.

I learned well. It seems good to have more realistic photos. It is the museum that exhibits the past, rather than what I am doing now, and I think that the only excuse room at the government office is to take such measures. However, the reception is kind and wonderful, and I think it's good for children to play outside. The museum itself is for adults. It is a nice place to learn quietly and firmly.

Free. From time to time, you can watch videos of Itai-itai disease in the theater room.

Be aware that you will lose information about the Itai-Itai disease museum when you come close to the health facility. You can easily understand what kind of disease it was thought to be at the time and what kind of life it was. The Itai-Itai Disease Museum and the health facilities at the hotel also have children's experience corners, so it is good to go with children.

I knew it was a pollution disease that hit women in prime of life. Actually, it has been around since the Meiji era. In the corner of Japan desperate for modernization, such a difficult thing was happening. I was impressed by the courage of many people, including doctors who worked hard to investigate and resolve the cause.
