Amazingly relaxing place! My wife and I loved it when we visited during our honeymoon. Planning to visit again.

Incredibly rude front desk staff. Inquired about a potential booking only to be treated extremely poorly. Completely turned me off ever staying here & recommending to others.

Place is as a normal japanese «kaikan ». There are nice japanese « teishoku » for dinner, onsen, and tatami rooms. The one bad thing is a toilet smell in the underground (basement) floor where about three extra big rooms. You can connect to wifi for free. You can order drinks (a little more pricy than in small shops), or you can buy it outside. Generally, it was a good experience.

It was very good and impressed. I used it as a drop-in hot spring, but it is a level that makes me want to stay and enjoy it leisurely. The building, which is a cultural property, is quaint, and you can enjoy the so-called hot springs with the white muddy bath. The temperature of the hot water was comfortable and I was able to enter comfortably. The point is also high that the provided shampoo and body soap were DHC hotel specifications. I like it because it's comfortable to use. There are many hot springs in Hakone, so it may be difficult to find one that you like, but I've entered the five hot springs that I want to repeat in Hakone. I recommend it.
