Rooms are really small but very clean. Breakfast is great!!! Beds are very firm and the pillow is thin.
Update a year later!
I am back again. This trip I have stayed in several hotels while traveling.
My last night here put me back in Kariya. So we choose Comfort Hotel....
The bed was awesome and I had (2) really nice pillows!!!!!
I already liked this hotel but I am starting to believe it is my favorite one in Kariya.
Also most of the staff speak English. This is really nice for communication!!!

Good place for european business travellers. The hotel is very central and close to the main train station in Kariya. The rooms are clean and tidy and the price is reasonable. Breakfast is quick and easy, but they offer many things for europeans (intercontinental) and not japanese style breakfast only.
Conveniently located by the bus stop and train station. Short 10 min walk to Denso HQ. Pretty decent breakfast included.
Stayed for 4 different weeks. Well located near the Kariya train station. Rooms are quite comfortable. There is air-con and a humidifier in the room, but the humidifiers in some of the room gave out a bad smell, so I stopped using it. The pillows are very flat, but you can get another one from the reception. Breakfast is very simple, with some cereal, fruits, salad, a variety of bread and onigiri.
There is rental of bicycles and umbrellas (free) available from the counter. Laundry is self-service on level 5, with various selection of washing machines and dryers.
Overall, a good choice of hotel near convenience store, eateries and train station.
