Toyoko INN, Gunma Ota Station, Minami-guchi

I came to OTA on business purpose. Where I stayed overnight. This hotel is good, hygiene and convenient to reach. The breakfast is complimentary. You can see one technology where the reception lift enterance is equipped with camera output where you can see who is Coming and going

Horrible service! Ordered a non smoking room over a month before my stay. As a non-smoker and travelling with 7 month old baby this was pretty important to me. After checking in and going up to the smoking room level, i immediately went back down to reception as i thought clearly there had been a mistake made. Reception told me that i had requested the smoking room and when i said i couldnt stay in the room i was handed me some air fresher and said they were full and there wasn't anything they could do. After saying i was extremely unhappy and it was dangerous for a baby to be put in this room they still refused to change my room. I then dug through my luggage i found evidence that i had clearly booked a non-smoking room. I was then given a room with a broken window. No discount, no sorry we made a mistake with your booking, wasted an hour at reception sorting it out and was late to my first appointment in Ota. Not happy, receptionist was pretty rude about it. Couldnt believe she was willing to put 7 month old baby in a super smokey room for a 6 night booking!!! One star for the lovely breakfast staff. Only good thing about this hotel.

It is roomy and quiet. Very nice.

Modern business hotel with all the expected amenities, very reasonable rates. Staff are friendly and easy to work with, very helpful for foreigners.
