Small rooms, good prices.

One star for the bait and switch. I called early to inquire about rooms. The guy confirmed that they had availability. I asked if it is possible to check in early. The guy assured me it is not a problem. I spent over $20 on taxi to get there, and only after I arrived the guy explained that he will charge me for a full day for an early check in. This was after a full night with no sleep. This was just wrong.

We called to see if we can check in early. They said it is not a problem. After we spent over ¥2,000 on the taxi fare they said that they have to charge us a full day fee for checking in early. This is a classic bait and switch technique. This establishment is praying on unsuspecting foreigners.

Pros: Super close to train station, easy to find for Americans. Very affordable prices. Staff speaks English well. Also close to Family Mart, McDonald's, and a grocery store(Fukushimaya) is two blocks away in a straight line, also easy to navigate and access for foreigners. Cons: Tiny rooms with zero storage. If you have a lot of luggage, the room can be awkward. The entire hotel shares one microwave in the laundry room on the 8th floor. The shower is a 1x3x7 foot coffin, hopefully you're short and or flexible. TL;DR summary: Perfect hotel for 2-3 nights of zero luxury.
