I was surprised to find a few things missing from this brand new hotel. First, there was no wifi signal in my room. They said they’re working on improving the signal, but they couldn’t give me any concrete details about when they might be finished. Second, there was no waste bin in the bathroom. All of the wrapping for the amenities had to take a trip out to the main room. Third, there were no bars in the shower. With an aging Japanese society, these bars are more essential than ever. That aside, the room was spacious and the breakfast was top notch, considering the price. If they fix the wifi, I’ll stay there the next time I visit Ota City.
