I think it's a very impressive temple. Like Daiju-ji, it is the family temple of the Matsudaira family, the former Tokugawa family, and it is said that Ieyasu studied hard when he was a child. After the Battle of Okehazama, Ieyasu was also a temple that was given preferential treatment by giving him the privilege of not being protected. There is a memorial tower for the Matsudaira family, such as Ieyasu's father, Hirotada Matsudaira, and there is also a memorial tower for the vassals who died in the "Battle of Mikatagahara" that fought against Shingen Takeda. Opposite it is Isami Kondo's kubizuka. This is a recommended temple.

There are many attractions such as the kubizuka of Isami Kondo, the director of the Shinsengumi, which is famous as a temple where Ieyasu Tokugawa learned his studies when he was a child. I think it is a wonderful temple that many people can enjoy, not to mention history lovers.

What kind of temple do you think it is? If you take a peek, you will find the Shinsengumi director, Isami Kondo's kubizuka, where you can experience the history of the past and the scenery seen from the hills of the temple makes you feel like you have slipped back in time.

The lions are wonderful, although the gates are inconspicuous. The temple where Chichiyo was hidden.
