Really fantastic experience with this Ryokan. The tatami rooms are well designed and the surroundings and ambience are just soothing. Spent a couple of nights at the place - had breakfast and dinner. The Kaiseki dinners were just exquisite. Breakfast was sumptuous. Room had private Onsen which is nicely designed. Staff is attentive, friendly and efficient. Great experience overall.

The staff are really polite and nice. I felt like home when I entered the place. There is a hot spring in your room which you can enjoy whenever you want. A toilet in the room too. The room is clean and the staff will help you lay the futons. Dinner and breakfast in the room. A pleasant stay here but one thing I don't like is, I can't turn the light off even when I want to sleep. There is always a dim light there.

The room was very awesome and comfortable. Fully experience Japanese living style and both dinner and breakfast are wonderful.

I would say It’s a highly recommended hotel. The room with private hot spring is peaceful and warm. The dinner and breakfast are delicate and tasty. The day we check out is a heavy rainy day but we only have one umbrella by two people. The hotel host give me an umbrella actively so that we can walk to train station smoothly. Thank you so much, Dear Ōita-ken !!
