Personal home of an elderly Japanese couple. This is a guest room and not a hotel. Location: The room is located 20 minutes from Kyoto station. -> compulsory bus. The owners: very welcoming however they do not speak a word of English. Bedroom : - The cleanliness of the sheets is catastrophic. Hair and stains are present. - No insulation of the windows, the noise of the cars is unbearable. impossible to sleep. - The condition of the shared shower and toilet leaves something to be desired - Showers are on request and not self-service. - The common areas are not heated. Between the shower and the bedroom is the north pole. - There is NO WIFI. it is inconceivable. We had booked and paid for 4 days, we left the first day in another hotel at our expense. Beyond the welcoming aspect of the very nice owners, I recommend this establishment
