A pretty good example of the Japanese "space optimization", and a good choice if you want to save money and you just need a place to crush. The old lady who's in charge is simply too kind, better if you know some Japanese though because she can't speak English at all! Beware of the falling sinks (ours was attached to the wall with silicon!) and enjoy the futons, so confortables! You'll find many good restaurants and izakaya in the neighbourhood, that is a traditional Japanese one! Enjoy! :)

What I liked: The owner gave us a lot of useful information regarding what to do and where to go. Everything was thought of in the en-suite room including a hair dryer, mirrors, toothbrush and towel. We weren't disturbed by people coming and going at all hours and the doors didn't slam. What I didn't like: The bed didn't look freshly clean as there was a small stain and a few hairs that weren't mine. We weren't shown how to unlock the front door at night so we had to disturb the staff to be able to get back in.

Great rooms. Great staff, very friendly. A little bit small but very clean and just what you need if you don't plan on spending a long time in your room.

Good place to see the traditional Japanese style Guest Inn. However, the distance from the JR train station could be shorter.
