Amazing Japanese style house. Loved everything!

I wanted to travel with my husband, myself, and my sister, so I was looking for a townhouse with two bedrooms and found this. I took advantage of the GoTo discount on booking.com and it was ¥ 32,760 for two nights. I got lost a little, but when I went down the very narrow alley unique to Kyoto, there was a front door. It was pretty dark at night. The entrance is large and there is a living room and kitchen as soon as you enter. In the back, there is a bath, a toilet and a wash basin, and from the bath and living room, you can see a small tsubo-niwa. There was a small Japanese-style room next to the entrance, and my sister used it as a bedroom. On the second floor, there was a toilet and a large Japanese-style room that could be separated up to the bran, and the Japanese-style room had a bed, so my husband and I slept on the second floor. The stairs are so steep that I was a little scared. The overall impression is that it is a modern Japanese-style house rather than a pure Japanese-style house. It may be a little unsatisfactory for those who want to feel a retro feeling and a profound history. The room was very clean and tidy in every corner. I don't meet the owner just by exchanging emails, but he was very kind and polite, and I was able to stay with peace of mind. In addition, it is convenient because there are a washing machine, detergent, tableware, etc. Instead, please be aware that there are no amenities or pajamas that you would find in a hotel. I think it's basically for inbound tourists, but I would like to recommend it to Japanese people as well.

In the small alleys of the residential area, there are buses to the city for 5 minutes.
