Actually I quite liked it although I knew it's made of concrete. Maybe the stone base is the only one original.
Unique thing about this castle is Japanese garden at the foot of the castle and the red bridge approach. Inside there are displays of armors, sword, video playing, clothes, and at the top, the view. It was entertaining but it requires the language. 4-story building, only stairs.
15min walk from Kiyosu station, follow google map to make shortest but narrow alley!
Beautiful Castle not as overcrowded as others. The Train running next to it takes a bit off the good atmosphere.
I came upon this castle quite by accident while looking out of the train window. I looks such a beautiful and inviting castle that I decided to cycle there. Easy to get to....just off the main road. And there is a large carpark dedicated to this place. Lovely approach to the castle across a splendid bridge. Very picturesque. An attractive rock and sand garden presents a great foreground to the castle.
Beautiful castle nearby Nagoya
Very beautiful castle even if not famous. Inside there is a little museum which is very interesting ! Less than 30min from Nagoya by train. In the city there are also a little park and a temple that are beautiful.
