Really is great value for the price (especially with the efficient self-check in) but the walls/floors/ceiling are a little thin. Every time our neighbors got up to do anything it was *BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM* but that could have just been them being obnoxious.
I did not stay here, but my experience was bitter at the booking stage through Agoda. I booked for 2 Adults and 1 child and later i was told that i would be charged extra for the child, 2 days after i had a confirmed booking. Then this property has a 50% canceling charge. Since i was not happy to pay the extra and the way i was being told, that was very unprofessional as the booking should have clearly indicated that before i have hit the submit button. The property although later said that they will waive the child extra payment. But anyway as i was unhappy with the way things were handled they charged me 50% of booking money 7880 yen even as i cancelled. So anyone willing to book - PLZ BE VERY CAREFUL since Florence property does not bother to waive any cancellation even if you request them nicely. I can say that if you are looking for a property in Odawara look carefully taking ur time and you would get a better deal, as i did, except the 2940 Yen which was taken away from me even after i nicely requested them. Apparently they are head strong on their cancellation policies.
Beautiful Japanese style home that is off the beaten path in a quiet area. Very easy to find using the directions we were given when making our reservation. I would definitely recommend Hotel Florence Odawara to anyone traveling through the area!
