Kiyomizu Youth Hostel, part of HI. If you want a break from the busy backpacking scene, chill out in this quiet, spotless lodging. Traditional, and full marks for quality.

I used it in September 2017. Two children and a total of three people into a quadruple room. Children are delighted with a two-tier bet. Of course, the room was clean and comfortable, including toilet, washbowl, hallway, staircase, dining room and so on. I took a udon after refreshing by using the public bath which I introduced to Parent for bathing. I want to use it again.

Although it is in a sightseeing spot, it maintains a normal appearance. Parents are serious and common sense adults who are familiar not only with tourist spots but also with the normal lives of locals, and help with the assembly of various trips. Although it is an old private house, the water area is new and it is sandwiched between two sheets, so it is cleaner than some inns.

I used a youth hostel for the first time in my life and had a wonderful time. I got the impression that the toilets, baths, rooms, and lounges were all clean and well maintained and cleaned. I definitely want to use it again.
