Nikko Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park

Superb place. Great visit both inside the building, and outside through the garden. A must see in Nikko.

Interesting interior and exterior though I was not too interested in this sort of thing. If you appreciate Japanese homes and would like to see an imperial villa then this is for you!

Beautiful and green, like a dream or a painting frozen in time for all to gaze upon in total awe. I couldn’t find a greener part of Japan, no matter how hard a ventured into the great oriental unknown. Culture so rich it makes feel wealthy just to be standing near such a place. Highly recommended!

the ambience is very calming. the place is very well preserved and maintained. and the garden is just beautiful.

Very interesting to see inside. Observation course is well organized. Staff are all kind. But the best part was the garden with beautiful colors of autumn leaves and sunshine. (Visited in November.)
