The room is amazingly beautiful with a view to the sea. The staff are great and super friendly. We ate a Japanese menu at their restaurant, the cuisine is refined and so tasty. This is probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip.

A very pleasing Ryokan experience, a great insight into traditional Japanese hospitality. Extremely attentive staff and excellent food. It's also a must visit if you want to climb the stunning Mount Misen before the rush of ferry passengers arrive on the island. Would definitely recommend and good value all things considered.

Such a lovely place. Really helpful and friendly staff that also speaks English. Bath on top of the roof was very relaxing! View was on the side of all the shops but wasn't a problem for us at all in terms of noise. Great location close to shops and the ferry.

This was a very nice place to stay with large, clean rooms. The restaurant served very good keiseki-ryori (multi course Japanese delicacies). The staff was friendly and the location was central. It was very expensive although this included half-board and and although I had no complaints, I did not feel it was sufficiently exceptional to justify the price. However, I would certainly recommend it for it's experience, location and cuisine if nightly rates under 40,000Y can be obtained.

Incredibly friendly staff, great location and views. Stayed in a traditional Japanese room and was the most comfortable ryokan of our Japan trip. Got engaged here and was a fantastic setting. The rooftop baths were amazing especially the views in the evening.
