This guest house feels amazing. Beautiful both inside and outside. Spacious, it has everything you want. And for that price, you could expect far worse, but it s perfect. Highly recommand
I booked this for an overnight stay last May 2019 and wished I stayed here and in Miyajima way longer! The guest house is very easy to spot and located very close to the shops and 6-10 minutes walk to the Itsukushima Shrine and also walking distance to the Daisho-in temple. The house itself has a very home ambience and the traditional interiors adds to the nice experience. It is very clean and so may interesting furniture, Japanese games, statues, past time items to look at or use. There's also free green tea and cereal available and noodles/ frozen food to buy in case you didn't get a chance to purchase outside. Amenities include a hot bath and a nice view of the garden. The host was also very nice and shares tips where best to eat, timing of low and high tide, where to hike and nice view of the island. I definitely recommend this place and would suggest to stay longer in Miyajima, if possible.
Great guesthoue. The owner welcomed us and went through all facilities with us. The place is very clean and authentic, with plenty Japanese memorabilia. He also has a lovely cat. Would recommend this place indeed. PS: he offered free breakfast too!
Had a great experience in this lovely guesthouse. The staff was great, very nice and helpful. Breakfast, tea and coffee and free softdrinks are offered on site. Also very convenient located in the middle of the hotspots but not on the main Street. The only downside of my stay was that my roommates were snoring really loud, but nothing they can do about that 😉

I stayed in the tatami style dorm which was great! The futon was very comfortable and the room wasn’t too hot or too cold which was great. The guests were very conscientious and didn’t make noise which was nice.
There is a fully stocked kitchen so you can cook food. And there is free breakfast (toast/cereal/etc) provided in the morning.
There were origami and calligraphy tables you could practice on but I sadly didn’t have time!
It’s fairly conveniently located - about 15minutes walk from the ferry terminal (beware the hills if you have luggage!) and near the ropeway and shrine.
