It was a excellent experience! A truly Japanese experience, public baths, traditional breakfast and the rooms were wonderful. The staff was very nice and friendly.
The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful beyond any expectations. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountainside. I hope to bring my family with me the next time I visit because the location and accommodation is perfect for my 2 boys.
Japanese style room is great but a bit old. Public bath is good. No shuttle bus to hotel but there is one going back to pier. 15 mins of walk to the hotel from pier.
Tucked away in the outskirts of town, about a 20 minute walk from the ferry dock. However, it's a really nice little place. Staff is very kind, prices reasonable. There's a vending machine with some alcohol in the lobby, in case you want a late night drink. I believe doors close at 5AM so plan accordingly.
