Very friendly owner who showed us places to eat and local attractions. He is also knowledgeable about In This Corner of the World, so if you're in Kure from the movie, you can ask him about places to visit. The facilities are very clean and not cramped, though there isn't much headroom at all for the beds. No complaints. (Just remember to bring earplugs, since it's a dormitory and people snore.) The dormitory also has a massage chair, manga (in Japanese), and lockers. The owner also runs a takoyaki place on the ground floor and a bar.

The owner here is great! Traveling from USA and arrived late, but the owner was overly accommodating and made the trip very memorable. Will stay again if I am in the area.

This place was easy to check in and the owner stayed late to accommodate a late check in. Very clean and nice facilities. It’s near the center of Kure so it was a great location too.
