The National Art Center, Tokyo

Some large gallery spaces set inside a modern atrium of curved steel and glass. This exhibitions during my visit didn't happen to be that memorable, but I enjoyed it. Great shop to get souvenirs and gifts that don't suck! Cafe/restaurant with lots of seating.

This is such a wonderful place. I used to live just around the corner, but even though I’ve moved, I still make the trek. It’s free admission for general exhibits. Large, spacious, and gorgeous! Plus they have WiFi and lots of seating in the café area (even an outdoor patio but the cicadas are a bit deafening) so you can get some work done. Temperature check upon entering!

Nice building which a lot of space and light. The staff is well organized and friendly. The have very nicely installed exhibitions.

Beautiful museum and area of Tokyo. Perhaps due to the timing (July 2020), it felt like the museum had very few exhibits given the space. It’s such a huge and well-designed space that I expected a large permanent gallery.

Enjoyed NITTEN. Have small and medium sized lockers. Ours was too big so checked it at information desk. Coffee and light foods available in Lobby.
