The foods are awesome.
You can have breakfast in front of the river if you make reservation.
But the seats are limited so don't forget to ask the front.
The view is great👍
Service was very nice as often happens in Japan but the organisation sometime was not always perfect. The food was generous in quantity but very oriented to Japanese tastes. The structure starts to show its age...
Great service and clean rooms. Dinner and breakfast provided were plentiful and great tasting.
Beautiful location. Not too difficult to get to. There is a bus that goes from Odowara station and stops just two minutes walking distance from the ryokan. Service was incredible as were the meals. We had the room with the private onsen, which I highly recommend. You also get a 40-minute private indoor-onsen reservation with your room. There is an outdoor bath that you can reserve for an extra fee. Will definitely be staying here next time we are in Hakone.
Great service and traditional experience, enjoyed the private onsen and had a lovely time.
