Great hotel right in the city center. The staff is friendly and the rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast is very good, with both western and Japanese offerings. The concierge is very competent at recommending worthwhile restaurants. There is a rather small business/office center in the lobby that unfortunately could be a bit better suited for actual work. Outside of breakfast hours I would recommend working in the restaurant.
The room ac too hot
A room with a view. Looking thru the room windows from your eyes to see Kumamoto castle . What's a pity to see the crane to rebuild the castle. Wish the city icon renew soon. The hospitality of staffs are very friendly and helpful. A worth to stay.

This is most historical and deluxe hotel in Kumamoto. The staff is also attentive.
From the Royal Suite, I could see Kumamoto Castle and the view was great.
I was also happy to be able to drink the underground water of Kumamoto with confidence in the room.
The location is excellent, the castle, shopping centre and restaurants are all within walking distance. The breakfast is not buffet and therefore very environmentally friendly and cut down a lot of waste.
