Tamachi Station

Good station. Just next station to Shinagawa, huge station. You can have a good access to go around Tokyo from here! You can find good cafes and book store. Of course there are some restaurants and convenience store so no problem if you leave some daily stuffs. The staffs are very kind so you can use comfortably!

Tamachi Station is one of the medium scale JR stations in Tokyo. Tamachi station facilitates for Keihintohoku (Blue) and Yamanote (Green) JR Lines. This station is bit crowded during the peak hours. Tamachi station is in between Shinagawa JR station and Hamamatsucho. Only 3 stops to Tokyo station. Situated in underground. Very frequently the trains are available on both sides.

I pass through Tamachi station every day and have also used the ticket office, as well as the food court. At peak times, it can be pretty busy. However, there are enough Suica/Pasmo recharging machines. The food court has a great Gyoza place.
