This is a business hotel so they cater more towards overnight stays from traveling business people than tourists, so rooms are generally quite small and basic and the cleaning staff are very insistent on cleaning every day. But the rooms are tidy and have everything you need. Please note that there is a big step up to the bathroom in the room, which will make it difficult for those with mobility issues. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and some can speak a little English. The onsen is free to use during your stay, and you can choose your own pillow before you are shown to your room. Check in is between 3pm and 11pm. The reception is closed outside of these hours. The center it Kumamoto is about a 15 to 20 minute walk, but there are two tram stops within a few minutes walk of the hotel. Very competitive price, and a good location. Definitely consider it if you are having a short stay in Kumamoto!

Staff was very helpful and I appreciate their help in booking a car ferry for me. It is located in a quiet part of Kumamoto. Japanese GPS will bring you to their private carpark opp the hotel. They charge 500yen per day for parking which is reasonable. The rooms are small. The hot bath is small too. The beds are not so comfortable.

bit far from downtown, about 15 min walk. although the staffs were very kind and i could choose my own pillow! the breakfast had so many varieties and the room was really clean. the bath didn't have a window and bit small than expected but i am very satisfied for staying here.

Staff greeted us with great and welcoming attitude and they speak good English. Rooms are small but as expected. Good amenities and not too far away from the Kumamoto Station. Didn’t have the time to try the onsen so I will not comment. One thing that is strange is that I received a message from the Hotel saying that its check-in closes at 9pm, if you missed that, you will not be able to stay for the night. From what is seen on my hotel booking agency website, it wrote check-in was until midnight. Nevertheless we didn’t take the risk and rushed to the hotel right after we arrived at Kumamoto station at 8:40pm. It was quite a nerve wrecking experience.
