I have been to a few Ryokans with my university field trip and this place was the best hands down. From the friendly and accommodating staff to the top notch traditional yet slightly modernized Japanese cuisine, this ryokan was absolutely the best. The accommodation and surroundings were extremely clean and well kept and even though there was a typhoon when we stayed the night, there we no major issues to contend with. I highly recommend this place for even a night's stay.

It's an old building, so there are some bumps in it, but overall it's well cleaned and I think it's okay for men. The food is voluminous and good The sashimi was frozen and the watery taste was missing. Personally, I also want to stay at this inn.

The porch is open as a cafe. The cheesecake set (coffee or tea) is 600 yen. You can relax while looking at the garden, but there seems to be a time limit (45 minutes). You can also have breakfast at the inn by making a reservation by 20:00 the day before. On weekends, the tag "Tomorrow's breakfast is chronic" is always hung.

It is a nice inn with a very atmosphere. You can enjoy the feeling of becoming a literary master in the Taisho era.
