The walls were dirty and there was a smell of cigarettes in my room (less like someone was smoking in there but more like the last guest was such a heavy smoker the room still smelled like them) but it was super cheap, I like that you can pick your own pillow, and the breakfast was pretty good.

Nothing special, the rooms are small, basic and there's not much sunlight. It's affordable though and you can choose from a variety of pillows (kind of important if you've you don't like the typical hard as sack of gravel style of Japanese pillows). Will probably try a fancier hotel next time I visit Hiroshima though.

1. Super narrow. 3 pax room can't even fit in 3 cabin luggages. What's more if you have larger luggages. 2. Discriminate. Ladies are welcomed with 5 free cosmetics while guy gets nothing. 3. Bath tub clogged. 4. Have to make up the bed linen yourself for 3rd bed. 5. Car park far away and hard to find with guide in Japanese only. 6. 1 good thing though, traditional Japanese breakfast included.

I’ve stayed in many Super Hotels throughout Japan but you should beware they remove breakfast early here, we were given no notice or warning that you need to be there by 8am!!!! We paid for the breakfast as part of the costs but yet weren’t allowed to eat as we were ‘late’ . Utterly disgusted by this behaviour and sadly say due to this experience I will never return. It is worth noting however that the Gentlemen working the counter at checkin were well manored and polite albeit uninformative. As a traveler we don’t always have the luxury to pop out of bed at 6am! A late breakfast was why I’d previously chosen to stay at these hotels. Disappointed does not sum up my feelings for this sneaky behaviour. YOU MUST TELL CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU ARE CLOSING THE BREAKFAST BAR AT CHECK IN!! The two Star is ONLY because your staff are polite and previous experiences at OTHER hotels have been good.
