Perfect....... Just what needed... I was booked on with a group at a local hostel, when we got there, l was horrified by what met us, five people sharing I a four at a squeeze in futon mattresses on the floor, no space to walk. I got on the Internet and found this place, it was the quickest booking l have ever made, within minutes l crossed the road to hotel they had all my information printed out and ready. Staff were absolutely welcoming, which l so much needed, and l have never been so happy to see a room before. Great stay, near the station, really helpful staff. Lots of places around to go out at night and a fabulous space, same size of room that five of us were expected to share!!! I had a great meal in the restraunt by its entrance, very convenient on a cold night.

The hotel is just across of Nagano train and local bus terminal. Just a 5 minutes walk. The hotel is clean but a bit dated. The rooms are slightly bigger than hotel room in Tokyo. If you are lucky, you may get a room facing the station. At the lobby there is a coffee and hot chocolate machine. The is a shampoo bar which you could use but have to put it back anytime after used. Information leaflet of the nearby attraction. Many eateries around the hotel and shopping malls too!

Nice business hotel. Little bit intimidating with the people out the front. But it is an excellent location!

The location is PERFECT! Right in front of the main train station where many of the city buses run through, it's easy to get around the city and to surrounding areas. It's also walking distance to Zenkoji. The room is a bit dated though, with the toilet walls peeling. Otherwise, clean and great for budget.

Old fashion hotel really close to the station. You may either live or hate it. In my case I enjoyed free massage chairs, free coffee/chocolate/teas and authentic traditional breakfast. Main issue: the wifi was too slow.
