First morning of check-in, the morning female counter employee is extremely rude to foreigners. I walked up and said good morning today and she didn’t say anything. She just said “check in is at 3” when we didn’t even say anything yet. An older Japanese gentleman checked out and the same employee’s voice and time became bubbly and sweet. Anyway, we left and arrived back at 3pm to check in. Check-in is great. We open the room and it’s so small. The bathroom is similar to an airplane bathroom. We are only two people with four bags of luggage but we cannot fit in the double room. My partner asked for extra pillows because they provide two small pillows for a full sized bed. Guess what? They don’t have any. How can a hotel not have extra pillows? The location is nice but it’s definitely not worth it. Our first hotel in Sumida was a dream compared to this. If some employees here don’t like foreigners, that’s discrimination. We aren’t all the same. Good luck with the Olympics in 2020..

Good location. It's nearly JR/Subway/train to airport. Room is clean. Self check-in and check-out by machine but there are front desk assistants to help you. If you come with friend not couple, I recommend you reserve for twin bed because single bed is queen size.

The blanket is horribly dusty, and the shower curtain stinks. The location is great tho, given the wide variety of restaurants and the proximity to train stations. A good option for budget travelers who look for convenience but not hygiene.

It is small but very good value among the hotels in Tokyo. Super convenient to the train service, very close to 3 different stations. Located at very center of Ueno, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable. Good service from the staffs.
