Love this place. The owners are very kind and helpful. The food is amazing!!!
Guest house is run by a charming family. Daisuke, the son who also runs Hillbilly Coffee up the hill speaks fluent English and makes world class coffee. Their meals are sumptuous and comforting. Also they will take your baggage to the next town for you so you can walk a part of the Nakasendo unburdened. Thanks guys!
Keiko-san keeps a great guesthouse. Although it's a bit of a walk from the bus stop, the stay there more than makes up for it. The place is spotlessly clean, meals were perfect, and it was a home away from home for me. Recommended!
A peaceful inn with tatami mats, yukata and all the right slippers. Amazing dinner, generous hosts and a friendly feeling. Rooms clean and welcoming. There's a photo wall with guests from all over the world and a map where you can put a pin to show what you're from. A nice reminder of all the travellers we have.
Keiko is the best host you could ask for. She is the highlight of our three week trip in Japan.The guest house is perfectly clean and comfortable. The dinner was the best we had in our trip and the breakfast was perfect, Keiko is an incredible cook. We had an origami class in the evening which we all enjoyed. The house is at 30 seconds of the bus stop heading to Nakatsugawa Station which makes it even more convenient. If you're planning to visit Magome or doing the Nakasendo trail from Tsumago to Magome, this guest house is a must go.Thank you Keiko for making us feel like home with your kindness. We will definitely come back.
